I don't know about you, but I love to bake.  It's quick, easy, cheap and teaches the kids all sorts of things (measuring, weighing, pouring, mixing, oven temperature...it's a maths and science lesson all rolled into one!)  Anyho, today we whipped up this tasty Christmas Treat:  Chocolate Candy Cane Slice

Because I'm far to lazy to type the recipe out, I took a photo of it for you.

You know, in case you want to whip up your own slice.

I got it from Better Homes and Garden magazine.

Which I read while enjoying a coffee at the local library.

Yes, our local library serves coffee.

Yes, I like to visit our local library (with the kids in tow)

And yes, occasionally I take sneaky photos of recipes while I'm there.

That's not weird.  Not weird at all.
