Lipgloss Masterclass

One of things I love most about this little blog is the comments.  They totally make my day and often result in an idea for a future blog post.  Last week, for example, there was a lengthy discussion about The Manicure where this comment was left by the lovely Tara from Everyday Happenings

  • Perhaps I should start with lip gloss... But there is so many choices. Where do u start??? My head is spinning. Lol x

  • Well as luck would have it, you've come to the right place, because I'm what can only be described as a Lipgloss Know It All.  I was introduced to the glossy goodness in a tube back in 1998 and have been wearing it ever since.  And because I love to share my knowledge and because this blog is totes about the Big Issues, Lovely Readers, I present to you my Lipgloss Masterclass...

How about you?  Are you a lip gloss lover?  Or do you have more important things to worry about?  Tell me everything...

Sadly, this was not a sponsored post.  Clinique, Revlon & Chanel did not offer me vast quantities of lipgloss in return for this post.  But they totally should have because I love their products sick and would absolutely share them with you all in the form of a lipgloss giveaway.  Somebody get their PR peeps to call my PR peeps, so we can sort this out asap.  Thanks.

    1. Ha! Love it. Lip Gloss is all I wear. Hate the tacky "lip glass" ones. My Chanel has just run out and my Clinique one is seriously low so might give Revlon a whirl. x

    2. I bought a Chanel lipgloss in the states last year ($24!!) and it ran out about a month later...I was a bit addicted to it...wish I'd bought more at that price, because I just can't bring myself to fork out $50+ for another one here. Revlon is good bang for your buck and quite similar in coverage to Chanel. Big Issues, Nikki, I'm all about the Big Issues ;)

      1. I've never tried Dior. Might have to add it to the 'to-do' list ;)

      1. Love it!! I'd suggest starting with a revlon one...they're around the $20 mark, so not too exie, and are quite light in colour...maybe try one with a bit of shimmer in it to start with - it won't be too shimmery when it's on your lips and will give a lighter coverage than the bolder colours. Let me know how you go x
