the friday five

#1  //  James St, Brisbane is my latest crush for all things food, fashion & people watching.  I love every single thing about this gorgeous little part of Brisbane and really want to live there when I grow up.

#2   //  My nespresso  Seriously.  She makes a better coffee than most coffee shops and cheers me up no end in the morning.  Every home should have one.  And doctors surgeries.

#3  //  Nars Lipgloss, in *ahem* orgasm. We all know how much I love a good lipgloss and insist on wearing it everywhere, so you can imagine my horror when last weekend, after finishing a coffee, I went to touch up my lipgloss only to discover I didn't have any in my handbag.  I know.  I'm just as shocked as you are about that little bit of unorganisation on my part.
Anyho, I ducked across the road to  Mecca Cosmetica James St, and told the lovely staff member that I desperately needed a neutral lipgloss.  She replied with "How do you feel about orgasm?" which, quite frankly, I found most inappropriate and refused to answer.
She looked at me like I was a total nana/prude (which, let's face it, wouldn't be too far off the mark), swipped the colour across her hand and proudly announced that one Nars Orgasm was sold every 30 seconds worldwide.  I took one look at the shimmery, neutral goodness that was sparkling back at me and told the orgasm obsessed staff member I too would like to join those stats and now am the proud owner of a $40 lip gloss.  Which, I have to say, stings the living hell out my lips but looks amazing on, and I think we all know by now that looking good is The Main Thing.

#4  //  Boyfriend Jeans  They're comfortable, can be worn with almost anything (high heels or flats, tshirts or jackets) and are quite a flattering cut to just about everyone.  Totes winning.

#5  //  LSA, which stands for ground up Linseed, Sunflower Seeds & Almonds.  Sprinkle over fruit, toss through salads, throw it in your baking and BAM!  You've got one healthy form of good fats, fibre and all sorts of vitamins added to your food.  Pick it up in your health food aisle of your local supermarket, or at any good health food shop.

How about you?  Got a few things that you're loving sick at the moment?  Feel free to share...

PS:  This isn't a sponsored post.  Sadly.  Cos how good would it be to get free orgasms in the mail?!
