big issues: macaron v macaroon

Today, because I'm an ex-teacher/grammar nerd who enjoys sweet treats, we are going to discuss the difference between a macaron and a macaroon. It could be worse.  I could be putting you through a lecture outlining the correct use of your vs you're or two, too and to or even their, there and they're.  So count yourself lucky that today's little lecture involves the very delicious macaron and her less attractive cousin, the macaroon.  You're welcome x

Now put your hand up if you've learnt something new today.  Thought so.  My work here is done.  Mrs Smith over & out xox

PS:  Pinch and a punch for the first of the month.  Google Reader is closing it's doors today.  Feel free to follow this blog over at Blog Lovin' or via Feedly or even via Facebook.

    1. To be honest, you're not missing out on much! Macarons are nice but give me the choice between a chocolate eclair and a macaron and the eclair is definitely the winner x
