the royal baby

So I think it's probably safe to say I'm what can only be described as a Hardcore Royalist.  The Royal Family fascinate me and visiting the gates of Buckingham Palace has been on my to-do list since I was about 12.  I know.  It's a bit sad, but it could be worse.  I could be into politics.

Anyho, like you, I'm anxiously awaiting the birth of the Royal Baby.  My money is on a girl named Charlotte, with Diana and maybe even Elizabeth thrown in their somewhere too.  I think she'll be about 7 pounds 1 ounce and be loved and adored forever and a day. Just like Kate seems to adore her husband...

Doesn't she always look like she just wants to throw her arms around him and give him a good hard pash.  I LOVE that about them both.  And don't get me started on how chic Kate has looked during her entire pregnancy...

Thank god the paparazzi were never interested in following me around when I was pregnant.  Cargo pants and tshirt the size of a two man tent was my pregnancy uniform.  It wasn't a good look folks.  But then again, I didn't have a Lady In Waiting or a personal hairdresser or even a butler.   Which is weird, because I've always fancied myself as a bit of a Princess.

PS:  While we're taking bets, I'm fairly sure Prince Harry will rock up to the hospital at some point armed with cigars, whisky and some sort of over sized balloon arrangement.  And possibly a frown cos that baby has totally just Throne Queue Jumped him.
Not Harry.  Or is it?
Have a good weekend peeps.  See you back here on Monday xox

  2. Surely she can't hang on for much longer! My 'uniform' of choice with my 1st was the old daggy, and baggy, overall look. Sported with the borrowed hubby T underneath. Definitely no stockings and heels in sight, not even at work...but I do love how Kate has kept her composure and style during this pregnancy. She will look stunning post Bubs, and will have a completely new wardrobe to compliment her...lucky girl!

  3. Poor Harry- must be difficult being demoted by a newborn. My money's on a boy- Edward John. He should be here by the 21st.

  4. I'm beginning to think we're long lost sisters! I too, am a hardcore Royalist, and have literally been checking the news hourly for the past week for any sign of baby! I also have my Union Jack bunting ready to go, and as soon as I get news, scones will be baked and devonshire tea served!
