Tip 1: I always write each child's name or initial on the bottom of their cup. That way it's very easy to figure out which cup belongs to which child.
Tip 2: Same goes for any activities....I always put the child's name on the bottom of the plate they'll be using before the party starts. That way, when each child leaves the party and I'm handing out their artistic creations, I know exactly which creation belongs to which child.
Tip 3: If I'm setting up a party table outside, I always Blu-Tack the party plates to the table. That way, they don't blow off if a gust of wind decides to crash your party.
I also tend to Blu-Tak party plates to the table if I'm putting together a party with lots of little ones (ie: ages 3 and under) Toddlers just LOVE to pull things off tables and having the plates bolted down seems to ensure this won't happen.
Tip 4: The coloured Blu-Tack just doesn't cut it. I'm not sure why. Stick with the original blue stuff. It works best. Promise.
And finally, this wasn't a sponsored Blu Tack post. Although given the amount of the stuff I've used over the years, it totally should be. Anyone out there know someone at Blu-Tack headquarters? I think their people need to talk to my people.
Some great ideas there, Kirsten, especially about blu-tacking plates down. Miss 4 wants her birthday in a park this year so I'm certain that hint will come in very handy!
