advent calendar part 2

So it seems yesterday's post about making your own Advent Calendar thingy was a hit amongst you all.  Who knew there were so many hardcore crafters out there?!  A friend of mine asked over on Facebook if I could supply some ideas for what to put in the bags.  Well Deb, this year I'm going light on the chocolate and heavy on the daily activities.  Partly because it's healthier but mainly because my two kids finish school on December 3 and they're going to need some heavy duty entertaining in the lead up to Christmas Day.  Hopefully these little tasks will help with that!

In other news that I know will interest you all no end, I've managed to track down our Crafting Leader, Ms Tonia Todman*

I'm pleased to report that she's alive and well and is now running a cooking/crafting/rose growing establishment somewhere near Melbourne.  Sadly there was no mention of Rafia Hat Making Classes.  Shame.  Click here for more information about what Tonia's up to now.

*For those not in the know, Tonia Todman was a hardcore crafter on tv in the late 80's/early 90's here in Australia.  She was known for her love of all things raffia & decoupage and had hair that didn't move.
